Chelsea Pier From the Highline

-One of the things I’m working on: the #foundintranslation campaign. Alongside Rosetta Stone, if you submit a travel photo to the site and receive the most likes, you will win a trip to the place of your choice. I know you all love traveling, or if you just want to oogle pretty pictures it’s a great couple of minutes to spend.

-Recent granola: peanut butter, dates, almond slivers, almond oil, raisins, with a dash of salt on top. It went over well in the office. Next endeavor: ginger simple syrup, maybe earl grey simple syrup? That would probably be nice with gin & tonics. Cora also sent me this wicked recipe for gin cake.

Spring Roll Delight!

Spring Roll Delight!

-This week in review: Dinner on the highline with Mackenzie, my first run through Brooklyn, kickboxing on the room while it rained, PR meetings, new business ideas with a nod towards NC, stir fry broccoli, Madison Eats with Amirah: some of the best restaurants in the city together for a food court- tacos & macaroons. Bacon cream cheese anyone? Art everywhere and new additions to my map collection, Brooklyn nights, Thai, a sunset, and impromptu attendance of a reggae concert, moving into my new apartment, shopping at the farmers market a block away that is there every Saturday, going to the Artichoke and Basil that make their Chapel Hill compatriots change their names, and saying goodbye to Margo as she stopped through on her way out to Egypt.
